David Muñoz-Andrade

David Muñoz-Andrade comes to Sol after a noteworthy career in energy consulting, renewable energy project development, and public service. Before joining Sol, David founded Diurna Energy, a boutique consulting firm that advises companies operating in Mexico on their energy management strategies. Prior to Diurna, David led development efforts at Buenavista Renewables, where he developed first-of-their-kind renewable energy projects in northern Mexico. Earlier in his career, David served as Energy Commissioner for the State of Baja California Norte, where he pioneered an innovative state-owned wind project that provides electricity to a diverse set of state agencies. In addition to his work at Sol, David is also the Founder and President of Fundacion Diurna Mexico and a board member of Gale Force Education, non-profit organizations that empower educators and students to explore clean energy futures.
